Шоурумът за мебели на Workspace е разположен в партера на бизнес център "Мегапарк" в София. Помещението е със светла височина 5.07м, видими бетонови колони и открити инсталации по тавана.

The Workspace furniture showroom is located on the ground floor of the Megapark Business Center in Sofia. The space have a clear height of 5.07m, visible concrete columns and open ceiling installations.

Project goals

В търсене на една различна и нестандартна визия, която да вплете в себе си решения, подчинени на RE-USE и RE-Cycle концепциите, създадохме интериор с подчертан индустриален характер, с настилка от бетон и видими инсталации, като за акцент използвахме два употребявани корабни контейнера. По този начин сепарираме зоните на целия шоурум и формираме микропространства за излагане на мебели в самите контейнери.

За да разчупим пространството, единият от контейнерите е срязан на две части, разположени в отделни зони, а другият е отворен по едната си дълга страна, която гледа към пространството на шоурума и е повдигнат конзолно над подиума с експозицията на работни столове.

In order to dynamize the space, one of the containers is cut in halfs, situated in different areas of the showroom and the other container is raised in the air, over the chair exhibition plywood podium. One of its long side walls is removed to create space for a bar and recreational area.

Looking for innovative and unconventional solution, which implements the RE-USE and RE-Cycle concepts, we defined a space with emphasized industrial character - self-leveling concrete floor, visible installations and used shipping containers as a focus of the common space. The two shipping containers divide the functional areas of the showroom and are used for display area at the same time.

Подиумът от шперплат позволява разполагането на столовете във височина и разглеждането на всички модели от една точка. Този дървен обем изтича вертикално в гръб на приемната зона и рецепцията, създавайки динамичен елемент, проследяващ пътя на клиентите от входа до дъното и мениджърската зона.

Извън контейнерите и подиумът от шперплат, цялото оставащо пространство е решено единно и с минимално използване на материали – бетонов под, бели стени, таван и инсталации. Тази среда съчетание с корабните контейнери създават сурово и индустриално усещане, чийто контраст подчертава изискания характер и прецизен детайл на предлаганите мебели.

The sloped plywood podium allows the chairs to be arranged in height and by that way to be exposed to every viewing spot. This wooden element continues up vertically and surrounds the reception area dynamically, “guiding” the customer from the entrance to the manager area in the very end of the showroom.

Outside the shipping containers and the plywood podium, the entire space is designed with minimal use of materials - concrete floor, white walls, ceiling and installations. This design, in combination with the shipping containers, create simple and industrial look that emphasizes the sophisticated mode and the precise detail of the presented furniture.

Environmental effect of the project

Разположен в ъгловата зона на офисната сграда в пряк контакт с основния поток от ползвателите и посетителите на сградата, Шоурума активно участва в социалната среда със своята отвореност и непосредственост.
