Разположена в сложния контекст на най-големия уличен пазар в София, простата двуобемна структура на сградата на DOT София проявява неочаквано различни лица и мащаби от възможните гледни точки.

Embedded in the urban complexity of the biggest street market in Sofia the simple two volume structure of DOT Sofia building manifests unexpected different faces and scales from the possible view points.

Project goals

Хибридната програма от преплетени пространства за съвременно изкуство и събития; ресторант за авторска кухня и бутикови апартаменти e инжектиранa в по-скоро занемареното историческо сърце на града с ясната амбиция да дадат нова посока на неизбежната му трансформация.

The hybrid program of intertwined contemporary art and events space; signature restaurant and design urban living are injected in the rather neglected historic heart of the city with the clear ambition to redirect its inevitable transformation.

Project details

Ръждясалата стоманена фасада консервира характерната вехта материалност на района, а динамиката на едроразмерните капаци следва ритъма на пазара.

The rusted steel façade preserves the characteristic aged materiality of the area while the dynamics of the oversized shutters follow the rhythm of the market life.
